Well we made it to Portland. Started out around 7:45am and finally, finally got out of town around 10am. It's amazing how we can't seem to get away from out everyday lives. Just when you think you have everything done and ready to head out...up pops another situation. Of course it is raining here in Portland. But the drive and day was beautiful. We checked into our hotel and settled in to crop the night away.
